Privacy Policy
OpenDialog and your privacy
This policy explains what information we collect from you, how it’s used, and how you can manage or delete any information about you that we hold.
What information do we collect?
Sometimes we’ll ask you to fill out a form on our website. For example, to register for a demonstration, to join our slack community or enquire about our products and services. We’ll only use that personal data to contact you for a different purpose if you’ve given us explicit consent – usually by ticking a box when you submit the form.
Sometimes we’ll ask you to fill out a form on a third-party website, like Calendly. They have their own privacy policies, but we’ll treat your personal data as if you gave it to us directly.
Almost all websites use cookies – small text files that are stored on your device – to make the user experience better and ours is no exception.
Your device (computer, phone etc) also sends information about you, like where you are, what operating system you’re using, and what network you’re accessing the internet from. We also access this data via third-party services like Google Analytics, but we’re not interested in using it to identify you personally (though we may use it to figure out what company you work for).
How do we use your data?
If you’ve given us permission, we’ll use your data to send you marketing materials. These might consist of email newsletters and notifications about product releases. If you’re very important, we might call you, but again, we’ll only contact you for the purpose, and via the medium, that you’ve given us permission for.
The only kind of profiling we do using your personal data will be based on what organisation you work for, where your job is based, and your job role. For example, we might create a segment of our email list which consists only of people who work the Telecommunications sector.
How do we keep your data safe?
All the forms we use, including those on third-party sites, make use of SSL encryption. We also make sure that your personal data is only accessible by appropriately trained staff.
Not all the personal data we hold is stored on our own servers. For example, our email marketing software runs operations outside the European Economic Area (EEA). By submitting your personal information to us you agree to this transfer, storing or processing at a location outside the EEA.
If required to do so, we may have to share your personal information with the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisors. In any other circumstances, we’ll only share your data with third parties if we have your explicit and informed consent.
What are your options for updating or deleting your personal data?
You can update your details and marketing preferences by emailing [email protected] or by writing to us at OpenDialog AI Ltd, 7 Savoy Court, London, WC2R 0EX.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you. To receive a copy of that personal information, please send an email to [email protected] You will have to provide proof of identification.
