OpenDialog @ the 2022 Chatbot Conference (in the Metaverse!)

We are very excited to be participating at the 2022 Chatbot Conference, which, as the title suggest, is also going to play out in the Metaverse (will let you know how that part goes).

We are participating with two activities at the conference.

I will be giving a talk titled “Conversational Collaboration: How to set up your organisation for conversational success” in the main track and we are also running a Workshop on Conversation Design (using OpenDialog!) on the second day.

The talk uses three stories (or allegories if we want to get fancy) to give you three new perspectives into how to view the conversational automation opportunity and challenges and help you steer your company and team in the right direction.

The workshop is set out as a collaborative conversation design challenge to create a conversational application related to buying sneakers, tailored to the user’s running experience.

The workshop is designed for all and we will be going through conversation design fundamentals in the first part of this workshop, so not to worry if you are new to conversation design.  We’re in this together!

However, if you would like to prepare here are a couple of things you could do.

  • You can do some desk research on how customers search and buy sneakers adapted to their experience, using tools like AnswerThePublic, Google Trends or search for existing chatbots covering this particular use case
  • If you would like to check out OpenDialog – the tool before the workshop, please do register for your very own OpenDialog workspace through https://cloud.opendialog.ai/register
  • If you would like to get a heads start and try to build your very own shoe bot application – you can check out our detailed setup guide here: https://docs.opendialog.ai/templates/product-chooser

See you there!
